The new couple enjoyed breakfast on Sunday morning, just hours after the Tottenham Hotspurs player witnessed his friend Fabrice Muamba fighting for his life on the pitch. Dressed down in tracksuits, Defoe, 29, and Burke, 23, entered a cafe near his North London.
